During the earth Economic Forum in Davos, Georgian Pm Giorgi Kvirikashvili stood a meeting today with Gingko Bioworks CEO Jason Kelly.

The discussion involved Georgia’s biotechnology potential and prospects of enhancing Gingko Bioworks presence in Georgia.

According on the Pm, the Georgian Government’s reform agenda, among other directions, includes the roll-out of innovative economy, that is likely to be a driving force of rapid economic development.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the value of academic-private sector cooperation and the process of commercializing innovative products.
